Benefit Brokers of WNY has decades of combined experience in corporate benefits administration, employee relations, communications, and over 40 years of customer service and business management experience. The Benefit Brokers team works closely with all levels in an organization - from employees, benefit administrators, human resource directors, as well as executive level management.

Amy Christieson, President, began her career in the insurance industry over 17 years ago.  Through a variety of roles, Amy has gained a unique perspective on the challenges facing employers when offering employee benefits in the workplace. As a broker and consultant, Amy has improved efficiencies, allowing her clients to expand and enhance employee benefit offerings to assist in attracting and retaining quality talent. Her educational platform has provided her with the opportunity to educate hundreds of companies on the everchanging employee benefits landscape, as well as counselling thousands of individuals on proper preparation for the unexpected. Amy is a group benefit disability specialist (GBDS), was named one of Business First’s Healthcare 50 in 2008, and is the founder of the CONNECT Women’s Networking Group.  She is also the former chair of the Strategic Planning Committee and in her second term as President of the American Business Women’s Association, WNY Charter Chapter.


Tamme' Nash, Medicare Specialist, has been an insurance broker for 14 years with focus on Medicare products and retirees.  Her extensive knowledge allows her to work seamlessly with individuals, businesses, and organizations in both union and non-union environments.  Tamme’s comprehensive and customized approach allows clients to select Healthcare options that provide tailored solutions for both retirees and employers.
Laurie Brinkerhoff, PHR, Human Resources Consultant, is a certified Human Resource Management Professional by the Society of Human Resource Management.   Laurie works with executive level management and HR staff providing guidance, training, and up-to-date compliance information.  Her vast experience in benefits administration, finance, and business operations in both the public and private sectors, provides extensive insight when working with organizations to ensure a healthy and compliant work environment.
Amy Forrest, MSEd., Wellness Consultant, is a specialist in designing and implementing corporate health and wellness programs to improve employee’s behaviors and overall health.  Amy has over 14 years of experience in the industry including coordinator for the City of Buffalo’s Employee Wellness program and worksite wellness trainer for the National America on the Move Initiative.  Her focus is on cost-containment, measured by return on investment and customization of programs based on data analysis.


Nicholle Wilcox, Financial Consultant, specializes in retirement plan design and implementation, helping to alleviate the anxiety about the ever changing regulations, investments and costs. She helps in the area of executive benefits and compensation plans, 401K, Simple IRA, payroll deductable IRA, defined benefits plans and profit sharing. Nicholle holds a MBA and is a financial advisor with AXA Advisors. She is a FINRA series 7 and 66 Investment Advisor Representative, holds life insurance and health insurance licenses and is currently working to obtain the Certified Financial Planner designation

Victoria Sturman, Marketing/Public Relations Consultant, holds a Master’s Degree in Public Relations Management and works as a public relations consultant for small businesses across Western New York. She specializes in assisting small businesses increase their bottom line through strategic public relations campaigns that include social media marketing, website development and content management, creation of electronic or printed newsletters, selective advertising, business sponsorships, and media relations. Prior to entering the public relations industry, Victoria was a newspaper reporter and editor for more than 10 years. She is the Publicity Chair for the American Business Women’s Association, WNY Charter Chapter; is Co-Chair of the Elmwood Village Association’s Public Relations and Marketing Committee; and is a member of the Marketing Committee for the Women’s Business Center at Canisius College.
